When you write in, tell us: your business name, the date and time of the problem, the amount if it was a sale, and whether you were using a card reader or typing the card in. That is usually enough to find the transaction.

Never send a full card number — not to us, not to anyone. We do not need it and cannot use it. The last four digits are enough.

What this app is

MyDynaPay Business is a point-of-sale app for merchants. You sign in with the account your business administrator created, add products, take payments, and see your transaction history.

Taking a payment

  1. Add items to the sale, or enter an amount.
  2. Continue to the charge screen.
  3. Take the card one of two ways: - Card reader — tap, insert, or swipe on a connected ID TECH VP3350. - Manual entry — type the card details. This is always available; you do not need a reader, and you do not need to wait for a reader to fail. If no reader is connected, the app opens straight into manual entry.
  4. The app shows approved or declined, and the sale is added to your history.

About manual card entry

The card number, expiry and security-code fields are provided and secured by our payment processor, CardConnect (Fiserv), and are displayed inside the app. Card details go straight from your device to the processor — the MyDynaPay app never sees or stores your customer's card number. See the privacy policy.

Troubleshooting

"I don't have a card reader"

You do not need one. Manual card entry works on its own and is a normal way to use the app — it is the first thing you see when no reader is attached.

The card fields don't appear, or the area is blank

The card fields load from the payment processor over the internet.

  1. Check the device has a working internet connection.
  2. Leave the sale and come back to it, which reloads the fields.
  3. If your network filters web traffic, it must allow cardconnect.com.

A card was declined

A decline comes from the card issuer, not from the app. Ask for another card. If every card declines, that points at the account setup rather than the cards — contact us with the date, time, and the last four digits of one of them.

The card reader isn't responding

  1. Check it is firmly connected to the phone's USB-C port.
  2. Unplug it, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in.
  3. Use manual card entry to take the payment so the customer is not kept waiting. Then contact us — do not keep retrying a reader in front of a queue.

A reader must be configured before first use. If yours was not supplied by us, contact us before relying on it.

Reads are slow

A read that takes noticeably longer than a couple of seconds, but still succeeds, usually means the reader needs configuring. The payment is fine. Contact us and we will sort the reader out.

I can't sign in

Your account is created by your business administrator — there is no self sign-up. Check with them first that your account exists and the email is right. If it is, contact us.

Deleting your account

Merchant accounts are created by your business administrator, so there is no self sign-up and no delete button in the app. To delete your account, email contact@mydynapay.com from your account's email address with the subject Delete my account. We confirm within one business day and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Your user record, name, email address, and sign-in credentials are removed. Completed transaction records are kept, because tax and card-network rules require it — they belong to the business and contain no card numbers. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

Refunds and disputes

Refunds are issued by the merchant against the original transaction. If you are a buyer, contact the business you bought from — they control the refund. We cannot refund a payment on a merchant's behalf.

Accessibility

If any part of the app is difficult to use with assistive technology, please tell us — include the device and the screen involved, and we will treat it as a bug.
